Series 2006

Series 2006 lightweight pre-fabricated elements are made with modern products and techniques. They have a core made of polystyrene foam, cut according to design and a coating in compact, stiff polyurethane resin with added marble granules. This product can satisfy the widest range of demands in terms of form and size. The coating is achieved via a spraying technology, which provides the surface with a finish similar to plaster and a mechanical resistance that endures over time. This technique enables creating lightweight pre-fabricated milled elements with complex shapes. Old cornices can be restored with a process based on laser scanning then reproducing via 3D milling.

Note: some minute cracks may appear after the installation, which however do not reduce the quality of the product over time and can effectively be filled and sealed with an elastomeric coating.

Sometimes the pre-fabricated elements can be used directly as formwork for the casting (example A).
This allows to avoid mounting the support falsework and reduces labor costs. We are available to evaluate the viability of this solution on a project basis with our clients.

The pre-fabricated element is fixed on the timbering and laid against polystyrene elements that avoid overturning. The prefabricated elements are custom-made and delivered with already cut and joined corners. If requested, we can provide a drawing that shows how to place the elements.
