LIGHTWEIGHT PREFABRICATIED ELEMENTS - FAÇADE DECORATION CORNICES
Installation

Notes on the product
Lightweight Prefabricated Elements may deviate up to 8 millimetres in length. The elements ordered should be 5 centimetres longer as to be cut to size when being mounted.
Lightweight Prefabricated Elements are made by hand therefore minimal deviations in sizes and air bubbles are possible. Small cracks that do not jeopardize the quality of the product could appear during transport. At the work site any cracks can be touched up with resin then painted over without leaving any trace.

Cut the Lightweight Prefabricated Elements lengthways with a standard saw. For the corners we recommend you use equipment that can maintain the cutting line.

Apply the resin with a putty knife on the back part and on both ends. Any unevenness on the wall be must be levelled beforehand.

Apply the Lightweight Prefabricated Elements to the wall and press down very firmly. Remove any resin that seeps out, making sure that you finish the wall joining corners very well in order to prevent rain from penetrating.

Spread the resin on the window upright and then level. The resin used as glue and to finish the joins must always be protected from the weather; we therefore recommend that you always protect the Lightweight Prefabricated Elements with weather-proof paint.

How to create the joins
Lightweight Prefabricated Elements Series 2002 are supplied with the polystyrene part 1 to 1.5 cm longer.
Cut the elements to size and glue them to the wall.
Place a plastic mesh equal to the joining width then coat with resin, following the contour of the cornice.
A few days later when the product has dried finish off the joins.
The resin must always be protected from the weather with weather-proof paint.
